Whacky Films is a leading film production and post-production company in Dubai, U.A.E specializing in the production of TV Commercials and corporate films.
With over 17 years of experience (don’t guess our age) in film production and post-production, we have shot TV commercials and corporate videos in almost every category. Whacky Films has access to several local and international directors who specialize in making commercials for Fashion & Beauty, Automobiles, Food, FMCG, Tourism, Retail, and Finance (we could only think of these words). Whether a simple storytelling shoot or a complicated CG commercial we have the crazy crew, technology, and equipment (with fancy names) to make it happen. Our relationship with teams in Los Angeles, London, Paris, Kyiv, Romania, and Bangkok gives us access to locations all over the world for shooting tv commercials (just our way of traveling the world at clients’ expense…. Shhh). We facilitate Line Production for international production companies that wish to shoot in the Middle East.
Whacky Films creative team, “Idea House” helps to create TVC’s across genres, delivering consistent value with their crazy ideas and mad ways. We thrive on the knowledge and expertise of our people (who in turn rely on the internet), and in undertaking in-depth research (again internet) towards understanding and creating meaningful content for our clients that sells. Our team will bring award-winning directors onboard for you to choose from (we can even abduct them for you…. Client’s wish is our Command). All of our Directors give every script their personal attention so you can be confident in their ability to deliver a masterpiece.
We will intensively research how to best fulfil our client’s needs and always maintain the high standards we have come to know. Whacky Films’ post-production team enhances the advertising experience with its amazing CG and animation, dubbing, video editing, etc (we know the technicalities… hope you are impressed). In collaboration with Nube Studio, Mumbai we bring to you the Colour Grading experience like none other. Our Pro Tools based Audio Suite allows us to work on multiple projects simultaneously whilst creating great Jingles, Radio Commercials, IVR, Songs & Film Dubbing. At Whacky Films, we have amazingly talented people who love the adrenaline rush of shoots and mad production deadlines (we hate deadlines) … with a crazy sense of humour which our clients love.
Kinjal Tanna
Born in Mumbai, moved to Dubai in 1980 when life was much simpler, did his schooling and college. Soon he was lured into the world of production in 2002 at Emirates Studios and eventually in formed his own company/studio in 2004 and did a series of successful television commercials’ with several of the top agencies in the Middle East. He further pushed his desire for knowledge and did a course with the Manhattan Film Academy(New York), under the guidance of Robert Tutak & Agnieszka Holland (a two time Oscar Nominee). He started Whacky Films in 2010 to pursue his passion for producing TV Commercials which has seen the company producing for some of the biggest brands in the world. Today with 2 offices in Dubai & Mumbai, KKDD Films has been successfully delivering TV & Digital Content for the past 16 years.
Surtani Pinkesh
Optimist Guy hailing from India, living his dreams in Dubai. Making KKDD Films as his second home in Dubai he delivers his work under toughest deadlines. People acknowledge him for his leadership quality, because whatever he decides he achieves it.
Ranjeet Raju
Ranjeet at KKDD brings life to audio. He has been doing this for almost 10 years. He was working with a well-known Bollywood radio station in Dubai as production assistant, where it all began for him. He has got experience in live audio as well. His main priority is to makes sure to get the job done in the toughest deadlines.
